What’s on offer

The Race Equality Foundation offers parenting courses based on their well-established Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities programme. The courses are designed to work for all parents and carers - anyone who cares for a child is welcome.

Group courses are run at lots of different times and locations in the UK. Or you can choose an online course if you prefer to learn in your own home. There’s also a blend of the two types of course for even more flexibility.

How you’ll benefit

The courses will help you to understand what to expect from your child. You'll also learn how to get the best from local support throughout your child’s life as well as practical tips to try out at home that will make a real difference.

You'll learn real strategies to encourage and help your child and practical ways to deal with temper tantrums and bad behaviour. A better understanding of your child will help you to get the best relationship with him or her and to get the most out of being a parent.

What others say

The programme has been used successfully by over 25,000 parents so far. Play the videos to find out what other parents and carers who have been on the courses think about it.
